Local Group 23 News:

• Several people signed up for the new Organizing Cities program set by AI to engage more people in our mission. Hana Pinard, Phivan Wright, Fernanda Villalpando, Javier Razo from AI Group 23 as well as other local activists and our old Student Area Coordinator, Corey Glenn volunteered to be members of the Houston Activist Network. Most will attend the first training at the AGM in New Orleans.
• Sheli Rae and Alex Kendall will lead a fundraising effort which is planned for the fall. The fundraiser will include local bands.
• We had a table at the Quaker Peace Festival. John Sullivan and Sheli Rae set up to the table and Marci Pampe and Nicida Maerefat broke down. They tabled the event as well as Fernanda Villalpando and Javier Razo.

• We have openings for Group Coordinator and Secretary.

Letter writing actions have moved to a special section of our website.
